Gratitude and holiday wishes!

As the winter shortens our daylight hours, we’re finding lots of reasons to shine the light of our gratitude on those who have helped us this year.  Among those who made a difference in 2014, the island-beloved Bainbridge Rotary Club gave us a grant to purchase a new stage curtain, comfortable chairs and new tables, and some lighting for the stage.  Peninsula Paint Company helped so much by donating seven gallons of black paint that enabled an enthusiastic crew to turn the stage into a ‘black box’.  Brian MacWhorter of Butler Green Farms warmed our hearts with his  generosity in putting on a Spring Starts event to benefit the Grange. Marketing expert Lynn Gerlach did a wonderful job working  with us and some thoughtful community members to define our goals and make plans for the coming year.  And, a big thank you to everyone who helped in a variety of ways as we continued to upgrade this historic building, and make it available and affordable for community use.

Stay tuned for lots of activity in 2015 as we celebrate 100 years of this building– beginning with its construction as the Old Homestead Social Club in 1915!

All our best wishes for a warm and joyful holiday season!
